"I would describe myself as a considered maximalist," says Chandni Modha, founder of the luxury PR and talent agency, Modha Group. "I love investing in products and medical treatments that deliver results."
After studying fashion design at Central Saint Martins — where she'd always imagined she'd become a designer — Modha applied for an internship at Dolce & Gabbana's celebrity press office in London, a move that would entirely reshape her career. "That job introduced me to the world of luxury PR and talent," she says. "It ultimately led me to where I am today, two decades later, running my own agency." Today, the Modha Group works with some of the biggest names in luxury fashion, including Alexander McQueen, Bvlgari, Chopard, Rahul Mishra and Elie Saab, and entertainment, including Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Helen Mirren.
For someone whose work is built on beauty, Modha's own relationship with the word runs deeper than the surface. "Beauty to me is deeply personal. It is more about confidence, energy, and how you feel within yourself," she says. "For me, feeling beautiful is rooted in balance, self-care, and alignment. When I feel rested, centred and at my best internally, that naturally reflects outward."
Below, she shares her essentials for glowing skin and peace of mind, the one piece from her wardrobe that best captures her personality and the beauty product that she would love to bring to life.

What does a typical day in your life look like?
My mornings begin with a glass of alkaline water and a moment of intention, often visualizing my outfit depending on the day’s meetings or schedule. I ease into the day by reviewing emails on my way into work, allowing me to feel prepared and focused. When time allows, I take a walk along the river where I live, it’s a grounding ritual that connects me to nature before stepping into the fast-paced digital world. That balance is essential to me.
What does your beauty routine look like?
I’m currently very inspired by Korean beauty. My skincare staples include Dr. Althea's 345 Relief Cream and the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF 50 PA++++. For cleansing, I rely on the Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse Cleansing Balm from Sarah Chapman, followed by the Clinisoothe+ Skin Purifier as an antibacterial mist (especially important living in London and on my travels, when protecting my skin becomes key). I regularly visit Hart Medical in Mayfair for advanced treatments, including clear skin facials and polynucleotides to target pigmentation and under-eye concerns.
A product that you absolutely cannot live without.
My black liquid liner from Chanel, it’s timeless, effortless, and instantly elevates any look.

How did you find your way into PR? Was this always part of the plan?
I originally studied Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins with the intention of becoming a designer. However, an internship at Dolce & Gabbana’s celebrity press office in London completely shifted my trajectory. It introduced me to the world of luxury PR and talent, and ultimately led me to where I am today, two decades later, running my own agency. We now work with some of the top names on both brand and talent side.

A professional achievement that you are most proud of.
Being featured in Vogue is a true highlight. Growing up, I immersed myself in the international editions of Vogue — they shaped my creative outlook across fashion, interiors, art, and architecture. To be recognised in that space feels incredibly full circle.
A piece from your wardrobe that best captures your personality.
My Alaïa black barrel trousers paired with one of my many leopard print bags — they perfectly reflect my aesthetic which is always structured, refined, yet bold.

Your go-to beauty experts and places that you love and would personally recommend to everyone.
Ellie Hart at Hart Medical in Mayfair is my go-to for skincare, she’s exceptional and truly understands how to achieve radiant, healthy baby soft skin. Then Maria Asadi, a close friend and celebrity makeup artist, is super talented and my go-to. Darren Fowler at Fowler 35 is my trusted hair expert, he creates rich, luxurious tones that always feel elevated and polished.
A ritual that you turn to, at the end of a long day.
I unwind with sleep meditations to quiet my mind, followed by applying the Surrender Vata Massage Body Oil from Mauli Rituals. It is a beautifully calming ritual and my go-to product that helps me fully reset.

What does self-care and wellness mean to you?
It’s non-negotiable. I prioritize my physio and pilates at Ease Your Movement with Danielle, especially important as it keeps my body aligned and strong inspite of the frequent traveling. Wellness, for me, is about longevity and feeling strong, balanced, and energised. I also aim to eat clean where possible, although I do enjoy the occasional indulgence.

If you had the opportunity to create a beauty product, what would that be and why?
I would create a luxury beauty product that merges advanced skincare with sculptural design, a product that feel like functional art pieces. Beauty should be an experience, something that elevates not only your routine but also your space. At the core of the concept is an all-in-one device, seamlessly integrating multiple skincare formulations into a single, beautifully designed object. This eliminates the need for multiple products, offering a refined, minimal approach to beauty. Designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind, the device would deliver targeted treatments while existing as a statement piece ,something you would proudly display. This would be a true game changer for modern lifestyles, particularly for travel, where simplicity, efficiency, and luxury are essential.
